Is the G2 getting 5.0/lollipop?

I haven't seen any word on the update status for the G2. My phone isn't even a year old, would be a shame to see support dropped so soon.

Has anyone heard anything?

Yeah... The g2 is ridiculously speced out (even now) and more than capable of running 5.0

Keep some pressure on the LG US Twitter account @LGUSAMobile to give us some official information on updates. Point out that Sony, HTC and Motorola are all providing official customer promises on Android updates. Pressure LG to do the same.

I'd guess six months for the Verizon model. Non-Verizon models may get it sooner. I can wait though. The phone is running great as it is.

I knew the G3 would get it,But still not sure about the G2.And yeah mine is running great to on KK.But always looking for something different on a new android os.

Well, if youre rooted and have a custom recovery, shouldnt have to wait that long to get a custom Lollipop rom
