Root {DISCONTINUED} SimplicityXL V3.0.0 {RELEASED 10/29/14}

Okay if my phone is stuck at LG screen how to boot intro recovery again?
Well fastboot it or something. I have cwm on my download partition so I have 2 recovery points instead of having to use fastboot if something goes wrong. If its stuck at lg screen that means the ROM did flash no doubt give a few or fastboot and try again.

Yeah sometimes aroma malfunctions and stay at 0 percent with no signs of installation. All you gotta do is reboot and flash the zip again.

Yeah idk it doesn't seem to be working.
No signs of anything. The only time I seen installation text was the assert fail.

Tried a few times now. So.. no big deal.

When I opened the zip I seen some aroma files such as tw (I assume means touchwiz). Are these unused?

Do not wipe system before the installation of the ROM. That's your problem, only wipe data after installation and nothing else. If you didn't wipe system and don't know what I'm talking about, that means your device is not a MS323 which is why the assert failed.

Nononono you may have misunderstood me, I restored my system and didn't wipe after.

Just did factory reset only. Still hangs.

I just selected the default options. Then sound & xposed.. Maybe try to nix those?

How long are you waiting before you say it doesn't boot?
Redownload the ROM, reboot to recovery and select your options and let it flash. When its done do not let it reboot you out of recovery so unchecked the reboot to system option at the end. Then go back to the main menu of cwm recovery and wipe data, then reboot. If 15 minutes passes by pm me.

The problem I am experiencing is that it hangs at 0% install. Never reaches a point in which it says finished or passes 0%.

I rebooted and tried to install three times. Letting the first stand for 10mins and the second stand for about 15. Curiously I wanted to see what would happen if I let it try to boot (Out of my own pure amusement) and I'm getting some crazy ramdump modes. It's actually kind of interesting. (Turns out on the 3rd boot it boots. It never formatted, ramdump modes appear unrelated)

MD5 matches.

Are you selecting the options too quickly inside the installer? i find that, thats usually when it gets stuck on 0% try selecting the mods for sound and xposed at the end too, might help.

I managed to get a log and figured out it was the build prop itself.

I appreciate you helping me. It turns out it was user error to begin with.

One of the lines in my build.prop wasn't commented and it was throwing an error and hanging.

Sorry about that! It looks well put together. Super props on this.
Hope I can make one as good as this :)

Ha after the long wait(a few days) lol and it release, i had a boot problem at first but after going back to stock and going by the instructions on post #78 and works perfectly thanks, i love the boot animation and runs faster than ever!!

Help please...

Requirements:
MS323 running Software Version 10b = YES

Installation:
● Download zip to your sdcard =YES
● Reboot to Recovery = YES
● Great time to make a backup so DO IT = YES
● Install the ROM = YES
This is as far as I got =(

Everything went smooth and it rebooted at 8:31 now 8:55 still sitting on LG boot screen. I took screen shots of everything as I was selecting the options in the Aroma installer. I made a CM backup before like instructed as well as an offline Nandroid CM compatible backup just in case. So what do I do if it dose not get past the LG Screen ? My download I verified with the MD5 code.

I read the post of a few hanging on the LG screen, what did you guys do ? I don't want to touch it until I have some help.

Did you wipe data?

Thanks chevanlol360 for replying, I was patiently waiting a reply.

I followed or what I think I followed the directions 100%.
Installation:
I installed the ROM and pressed next on the installer. The phone rebooted and now is still sitting on the LG boot screen. I did not get to the Wipe Dalvik cache
Wipe data & cache *Not Required but for the best performance i suggest you do it* , Reboot.

I wasn't stuck at the LG logo , but I was stuck at the boot animation but that's normal. Everything went smooth, thank you so much. I just have to change the screen density.

Everything went smooth, pressed next on the installer and it rebooted at 8:31 now 9:38 still sitting on LG boot screen. I did not get any further. Did not get to the part in the instructions to Wipe Dalvik cache or Wipe data & cache. Should I hold power button or pull battery ?

Pull battery

OK so I pulled the battery and have a different SD card in with the rom zip file. The phone still sits on the LG logo boot screen. I have access to download mode and fastboot is working to detect the phone. I can run the command reboot-bootloader and phone reboots but not in to CM but to the LG log boot screen and just sits there. How do I get the phone back to any working state ?

Use the unbrick tool.

I was on boot screen for a long time....Pulled battery and same thing...I am also now using that unbrick tool as well...Going to get this going tonight...

Back up =)
Restored phone back to factory using the LG Flash Tool 2014.
Re-unlocked bootloader
Installed CWM recovery
Used Rebooter app to boot to CWM
Used CWM to restore the backup before simplicity rom attempt
All back up, will try again tomorrow. Thanks Chevanol360 for the help and pointing me in the right direction to get the phone back up and running.

Could it be that my attempt to install simplicity rom failed because my 32gb SDcard has 2 partitions on it one fat32 and one ext4 used for linking in Link2SD and Folder Mount?
