Help Windows 8.1

Has anyone used Windows 8.1 to do their rooting? I tried to download the utilities to root my Kyocera Hydra Vibe but the drivers for the USB would not load or install. I'm curious is anyone else has had this problem. I don't have another machine to do the rooting with.

You might have to disable driver signature enforcement.

I can feel your pain I had that happen I installed the clockworkmod universal drivers . and when I removed the sims and powered device back on everything ran . I know removing the sims didn't do it but the universal drivers did
