Lollipop 5.0 [Its out! 11/12]

The stock recovery still has the options to wipe cache on 5.0. Ive seen it, you just have to try the button mash a few times to get it to pop up.

Or are the issues actually accessing recovery? If so what happens when you select it from bootloader

It lets me get to recovery, but when I press Vol + (or Vol -, or Power) the Android on its back just stays there. It never gives me the menu to select Wipe cache, factory reset, etc.

I figured I would ask the question now rather than when I want to wipe the cache and am unable to in the future. Other than that, things seem to be working as expected.

You press the volume - down and power button when you see the droid on its back start pressing the volume + up button til you see the boot load mode

I'll give that a try in a bit. I am still putting all of my apps and whatnot back on it right now.

Thanks for your help!

At first I wasn't a fan of 5.0 but it's really growing on me. I am excited to see it on the N6. So far my only issue is them incorporating Exchange with the Gmail app.

I just can't get ADB to work. Tried everything under the sun. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple drivers and nothing. It's detected fine as a Nexus 5 but as soon as I enable USB Debugging it goes to an MTP with the yellow symbol. When I go into Recovery, it's listed as Nexus 5 with the yellow symbol.

I'm really frustrated.
