Can someone shed some light on this . would it be better to upload photos with the flash as provided or just a regular upload
 
Can't Display In Desktop View On Phone?

Set user agent to desktop in ten different Android browsers, ask to no avail.

Other sites display desktop view no problem.

I always use my Android phones in desktop to enjoy this forum

Whelp, I figured out why there is no way to choose mobile view / desktop view. They are one and the same. If you zoom in on the desktop view to roughly 500% then voila, mobile view. You can't choose between the two because there is only one view that renders differently based on the resolution it is being viewed in. Or said another way, when you request the desktop view in a mobile browser it is doing as you ask, but since it is the same view you are already seeing, there is nothing different to see.

Being extremely open minded, I'll try to keep participating in this forum I Love!

Yet frankly I don't know how long I'll last since I will not use Tapatalk under any circumstances, and Mobile view is cumbersome, slow, and excruciatingly painful.

Being my most favorite forum on the web, I am horribly dismayed.... just speechless.

I get a preview when I hold my mouse over a thread title. It's actually a fairly lengthy view, 4-5 lines of the post. I'll have to test to see what's being previewed. Specifically if it is the OP, the last post, or the first post that is unread by me.
 
This is a weird cosmetic bug I just ran into on AF app

What language is the site in?
 
The more I explore, the worse this forum gets.

It's unbelievable hard to find what one is looking for. I've used forums of all kinds for years... Yet respectfully... This one is HORRID.

I'M SO DISAPPOINTED.

I think he's referring to - when you write a new post, if you want to preview it before posting it. The option is available but you have to drill down to find it, it's not obvious at all.

I'd hope you have some patience with us. We are all learning as we go so we don't have all the answers yet. I'm find myself frustrated from time to time, but most things I found to be better once I understood how it was implemented on this platform.

These are purposefully reduced. The signal to noise ratio was just way too skewed with signatures. We want the site to put prominent focus on information, content, and conversation, with everything else kind of getting out of the way.

That's not to say we don't value customization, but I think there are much better ways to provide this rather than disrupting the flow of conversation with colorful, unrelated chunks of text and pictures.

I saw an XenForo website when I was looking at it when it was being updated. After I get done with my last bit of occupational training I'll look into the site to see what it's written in.

Agreed. I have seen this in many other forum sites and it really is distracting.

That's a basic feature of Xenforo - desktop and mobile don't look at the UA string. Phandroid has been like this for some time.
