Boy howdy we got more Tapatalk bugs than we can stand.

So - the Phaser is going to focus on the basic web bugs first. Hopefully that's going to clean up a bit of the Tapatalk mess at the same time and then work the Tapatalk bugs left.

Some days I love Tapatalk, other days I just want to nuke it from orbit because it's the only way we can be sure.

Bonus points if you know the movie without googling and bonus points for working with us on this.

I'd love to reply and say I didn't have to Google and that I appreciate all you guys are doing. What an undertaking.
I can't though 'cause I'm using TT and it's broken again. :po_O
 
Sorry to say, i think i found another bug :(
As the page is loading, i can see "My Forums " and "My Posts " , but once the page fully loads, they disappear?

Evidently the auto scaler is really confused - what's your screen resolution? Phone model if unsure.

Do you have room to try Dolphin? Just for a test?

If that doesn't go, try Opera or UC Browser.

I'll bet UC Browser will do it for you.

Boat Browser Mini used to be good, that's another.

Probably the best browser ever is Naked Browser - but that might be too close to your stock one.
 
I find the new format quite attractive and usable except for one aspect: I would prefer it if the date and time of each post could be made more prominent and moved to the top of the post.

As pointed out previously, that app is ancient and has never been updated since its initial release almost two years ago. It may not even work with the new format.
A full uninstall/reinstall of the current app shouldn't be needed, I just cleared the app data and that allowed me to log in again. Been working fine since doing that.
 
Dolphin browser is worse than my stock browser!

Looks the same but very slow and buggy, maybe i'll try your others later, i gotta give my eyes a break and put some groceries down my neck ;)

I recently received the nginx error for the first time on XenForo, not sure it that's helpful or relevant with all the other bugs happening.

Yes me too, it was when I clicked a wrong link and instantly clicked the one I wanted before/as the browser started downloading, but obviously before the page started to render. Pressing back took me to the page I clicked the wrong link from (as it should) and the correct link loaded no problem.

Chrome desktop, Windows Vista.
 
And I just have again gotten the nginx page again in posting my last reply above. Tried to post - three dots top right did their thing for ages and stopped. Not posted, oh uh I thought. Double post bug ? Tried to post again and got this, finally got back to report it and saw my original post has indeed posted. All good fun. :)

That happened to me as well. Until it figured out I just jump between Web, AF app, and Tapatalk when it looks like it's timing out just to be sure it actually posted.
 
So... there's no obvious (to me) way to mark specific forums as "read". Please don't tell me that there's no way to do this, and that Xenforo considers everything "read" every time I visit the site. If that's the case, it's absolutely a deal breaker for me. I can't believe I'm the first to bring this up, but a search turned up nothing.
