Ok, I have confirmed @badblue1 @techsavvy01 and a couple others indeed do NOT have the edit button as they should and have been digging into it the best I can. The vast majority I think I was able to fix but that fix isn't applying for some clearly so......... still working on it.

The biggest bug was ME...ha...ha...ha

Now I'm enjoying the new forum with its fresh layout and neat features... WoooHooo:)

I don't want to throw gas on the fire but, i still have no editor, all i can do is post and upload screenshots, and still can't see "My Favorites " or "My Posts" :(
I'm not complaining, i know you guys have your hands full and appreciate all you are doing, i have patience.
I'm just reporting the bugs that i have and only hope that i am helping and not being a PITA. ;)

EDIT ... I can see my favorites and posts in landscape, but still no edit button or anything above the editor.
 
I'm getting notifications of all kinds of junk that I never subscibed, liked, or even looked at. It just randomly shows up in my alerts. I've checked alert settings several times, but it doesn't help.

I know little things and little minds and all that ! Seriously thanks for getting it sorted you lovely admin people. Now, is their any chance of getting such a lovely Edit button on the mobile version of the site ? Please, Please don't make me have to use Tapaptalk on my mobile. :)

Phases, please add me to the list of those still missing an edit button. I attached a screen Image (edited) that
shows the situation on My desktop running Firefox 32.0.3 on Windows 7 Pro.

Arrrgh! Since I can't edit other peoples posts, an edit button does not appear! It does appear on my own posts!!! Another difference that actually makes sense. Have Other members checked their own Posts for an edit button?

Yes, you shouldn't be able to edit other people's posts.
