Disable Note 4 Home Button??

Hi All, Just got the Note 4. LOVING IT! I remember people having this issue other Galaxy phones, and am not sure if it can be solved without rooting. The home button always presses when in my pocket and turns the lockscreen on, and it is wasting battery. Can this be disabled? Thanks, in advance.

First thing I'd check.. make sure air wake isn't causing it..

In the accessibility section of settings... Dexterity and interaction. Turn off air wake.

Well, I know one fix you may not want to hear but.. I have no problem with it.. is the flip cover. Hopefully someone else may know a fix! Sorry :(

I'm hearing a lot about this and find it odd, my Note 4's home button is quite firm and tightly fitted, so I don't experience this.

My suggestion would also be flip cover OR a case with a raised lip that will increase the space between your phone and leg when in the pocket.

Thanks. Yes, that's how I kind of fixed my note 2,with a flip cover that had high "bumpers". I bought a flip cover case for this phone, but it's not as high on the edges. I was just curious if samsung had fixed this. ...guess not. I'll get by. Thanks again!

The temporary solution is to turn the phone outward in your pants. This will prevent the button from being pushed. The only con is the front will be vulnerable to damage since it's facing outward instead of facing towards your leg.

One solution I found is to flip the phone and put it in your pocket upside down from what you normally do.
I found when I bent down is when the button would get activated.
By having the home button at the deep end of the pocket, it no longer activated because it didn't get pinched between the leg/hip when bending.
