Help Can't locate noise reduction in GS2

Hi, I am trying to turn off the incessant echo everyone complains about that they hear when they call me or I call them. After reading several forum topics I have been told to try to go to settings, then additional settings and disable noise reduction. However, my Galaxy S2 has no noise reduction setting under additional settings and I cannot locate this feature at all in my phone. Can anyone help me? I guess the best answer is get a new phone but that's not financially feasible right now.

thanks.

Try this:

1. Dialer/Menu Key/Call Settings/Additional Settings - enable Noise reduction
2. Make a brief call
3. Dialer/Menu Key/Call Settings/Additional Settings - disable Noise reduction
4. Make another call to check that NR is indeed now off.

I got rid of my S2 a year ago so this is all from memory, but iirc you had to explicitly enable-then-disable NR to get the setting to "stick".

Sorry, but there is no noise reduction feature in Additional settings. And if by dialer you mean the key pad, only four options are there in the key pad: speed dialing, send message, add 2 sec pause and Add wait.
