This just in I have read up on as last resort!
for all sandisk users only!:D

If you're having problems with your Samsung Galaxy S3 or other Samsung Galaxy, it could be down to your SanDisk memory card.

SanDisk has owned up to microSD cards causing problems with Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. S3 owners and owners of other devices, including the Galaxy Note, report cards failing in both their phone and computer. Even worse, some cards continually disappear and then mount themselves over and over again, draining the battery without you realising it.

The problem affects "a very small percentage of 32GB and 64GB SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSD cards," says the memory card manufacturer. Various forums have reported the problem, including the official SanDisk forum.

"Under certain circumstances the cards may lock up and the card becomes inaccessible," SanDisk continues, adding, "the issue has been identified and a manufacturing fix has already been put in place."

Of course, the majority of users are more than happy with their Samsung phones and tablets, which are happily working away without any problems at all. But if you are suffering memory card problems, SanDisk recommend contacting the SanDisk support center immediately on 0203 3183 965.

Also the great chainfire has wrote up a very intresting topic here i feel everyone should read up on . In here on write permissions on external cards n being blocked from users downloading to these cards theres only 1 phone i remember that has no external memory sd card n the battery is not even removeable. In my opinion SUCKS! MOTO G I took it back the 3rd week of owning it cause it leaked batt juice down my leg near burning me... very lucky. :)

I have a 128GB Sandisk Ultra, and have been having problems with it from day one. I first tried it in a Galaxy Tab S and got nothing but heartache. Then I tried it in a Note 4 (N910G), same hassles, next tried in another Note 4 (N910K), no better.

I've lost count of how many times I've deleted the partition, re-created it, and formatted the damned thing. I bought another at the same time and have never had a problem with it.

I'll be contacting Sandisk ASAP for a replacement.

Im sorry that your having all of these problems with your card and hope we can have you the best answer to your problem. If you could kindly post back over what has worked for you.
Their suggestions they request you to try and methods to try and such forth.
this would really help everyone get back on track I know it sucks losing prizable memories due to failed storage.
Im never the type to get the biggest drive out there or the biggest sd card out there.
as for if 1 lil thing happens to that big drive bam lose everything.

They didn't suggest anything as a fix.

Everything was going well, they were going to send a replacement, then they asked for a photo and called if a fake and that they didn't make them in that format, though I'm not totally convinced, the packaging it came in sure looked official to me and it came with the official SanDisk Memory Zone software.

They do make 128GB SDXC cards, but I took it to mean not in silver/grey and red, the ones listed on their site are black with red writing. The silver/grey and red ones are 64GB and down.

Wow could u send me the picture
I would wait a week n try again sometimes it pends on who u get. Is the service u get . Also try to appear in a joking like type atmosphere towards them its something there not used to hearing so most cases they flow right with ya. It's a tactic I use when talking with them n other companies that don't normally budge.
As last option ask to kindly speak with supervisor. And u must keep a positive attitude or they will just mark ur name as disgruntled. N u will never get helped

I was nothing but cool and courteous with him (email interaction only), I've already purchased a replacement for it.

These pics show the packaging and card, front and back, scaled to %50 for the forum.

Thank u sir at what part of the pictures of those. Did he say that he can tell they were fake
Because like u need I by looking at those pictures we could not tell if they were fake . Unless u had a real good close up of the sd card

The pics I sent him were twice the size of the ones above. When I pressed him on why he considered them fake the only response he gave is this:
-----------------------------------------------------------
I appreciate your continued respond. Please note, SanDisk does not manufacture 128 GB micro SDXC memory card in such format. The memory card is not legitimate SanDisk product.
-----------------------------------------------------------

That's why I mentioned above that I thought he was referring to the colour, not the actual format, because I know they do make 128GB SDXC. I'm still not convinced he's right.

:( also look on the back of the sd card im sure it will say with in that long digit number will say sdhc or sdxc if it is legit but u will need a magnifying glass to read it n sometimes certain light will help as well

please one more favor could u please scan that square bar code on the front left side of that package im just curious as to what shows up??? I found the answer when i scanned it it takes you to the play store for the app lol http://www.sandisk.com/products/software/memory-zone/
you can download it from there and put this on any sd card...

Another thing im curious about is why does it appear on ur package on the left side is like some pre schoolers done some cutting n pasting of the 128 black n red piece of cardboard n had clued it to the package lmao ..
Could you please let me have a peak under that piece of cardboard that is in the shape of a sd card.

And if u have a xc card why does urs say hc ?

SHOWS YOU THE 32GB
SHOWS YOU THE SanDisk ULTRA AND microSDHC
YELLOW SHOWS
1.gif

THIS IS A LEGIT SD CARD
BELOW LOOKS TO BE THE PACKAGE THAT WAS USED TO CREATE YOUR BOGUS
SDXC CARD. LOOKS SAME TO ME BUT THIS ONE IS A 32 AND NOT A 16GB LIKE YOURS IS

LEGIT_CARD.jpg

I found the that when i scanned it the scan code it takes you to http://www.sandisk.com/products/software/memory-zone/ so you can link it to the play store for the app lol
you can download it from there and put this on any sd card...

also in mind
Firmware can be copied n transferred as the developers have showed us in the forum of how to change firmware over our phones it can happen to sd cards as well

Only thing im guessing from ur pictures n to what i see they are selling on their site.
here is your picture I had to place the sd card back to as if it was never opened so you can see the comparison
CORRECTION IM WILLING TO BET IF YOU PEAL THAT BLACK AND RED 128GB OFF IT WILL BE A 16GB UNDERNEATH. NOT 64GB AS I SUGGESTED IN THE BELOW PICTURE. SORRY BEEN REALLY TIRED AND PAIN MEDS ARE KICKING ME.
BOGUS_FAKE_RIP_OFF.jpg

SDSDQUA-016G-U46A
MEANS
SanDisk Standard Data [Q <-not sure] UltrA -16GB U Class [46A] not known at the moment
so if you had a legit 128gb card sdxc it should look like this on the back of your package
yes->legit SDSDQUA-128G-G46A
no->not legit SDSDQUA-016G-U46A
Means ur package says its ultra and means ur [1] looks like a wide fat W
Would signify that it is supposed to be a ultra plus when its not and the card says on it its a ultra when its not and there for my friend i feel its a fake as well n i haven't had to call them.
This would explain why they don't sell them in that format. Sorry bro.:(

[1] =ULTRA PLUS
microsd-ultraplus-128g.jpg

C10 = ULTRA
microsd-sdsdqxp-ultra128.jpg

But even at that if they did sell red n grey cards theres a few things i noticed about urs to theirs ..

Urs shows a slopy small [1] at bottom left corner it should be a
class10.gif
not 1 urs looks more like a Big squared W

Next would be is i noticed a notch at the end that u handle the card at the opposite side of the copper leads on the edge in grey area.

1.gif
IS UHS-I ULTRA HIGH SPEED AT 10MB PER SEC
class10.gif
High Speed 10MB/s BIG DIFFERENCE IN SPEED WISE AND PRICE.
CLASS C 6= 6MB'S
CLASS C4= 4MB'S
CLASS C2= 2MB'S
I put this here so it can help everyone get a better understanding of what all of this means
and why someone would want to place things in the wrong packaging.

Next in the white letters SDXC the letter D looks less defined

You base it from this picture of what im refering to
microsd-ultra-064g.jpg

and as a good tip here
pay close attention to the logos they are there for a good reason.
if your card does not come even close to looking like these below logos than something is not right.

150px-SDXC.svg.png
<--is your higher end data cards above 64gb. not many devices support these cards yet.
anything above sdxc unless you have a newer device that supports it. IT will not work....

128gb is more than plenty to store your average movies on thats a lot of storage... your average movies rated at near 3hrs long will take up storage of about 2.5gb-4.3gb worth of space near 1-3hrs of movies.

150px-SDHC-Logo.svg.png
<is your older and lower end speed cards 64gb and below. most devices support these cards. 64gb is more than plenty for storing a few movies at sizes 2.5gb and 4.3gb in size and thats near 3hrs in length.

So if we were to do the math seriously lol..... wow.. a lot of entertainment and plus what you could get from the internet in the mean time..

I will still be calling them as to why n what n how they are applying this

I done more research on this
If sandisk is the make of ur card

So on the back of ur package

why is this address 601 McCarthy Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035 that i found links back to samsungs new ware house out in cali. ???? Strange.

In fact i do not see anything on ur package materials that even suggest samsung anywhere! Not even a simple samsung logo?

Other interesting find is on amazon's site look down where it says users who bought this item has " Frequently bought together "guess what lol....
61BcsZibCpL._SY400_.jpg
this item ??? N why ????

This really makes me wonder.
Where the logic is if u just bought a 128 gb wth would u need a wimpy 64 for ? Why not another 128? U decide my friend ;)

You're kinda right, under the sticker it says 8GB, I feel like such a fool. I didn't even realize it was a sticker until you mentioned it, my eyesight is pretty poor.

I appreciate it I was just giving everyone the most detailed so they could tell the difference by looking at the package opposed to the card and if were in the store or elsewhere and didn't have the application on hand I was really hoping that somebody would come out with an application like that I just wasn't sure if it was made yet. Thank you for letting us know about this it will make things so much easier when finding out if you have a legit court or not but it's always still good to know that you can look at the package n should be able to tell as well I'm also installing that application as well that's an awesome fine brother:D

Sorry my friend that you got burned on your card unfortunately it happens to the best of us but we learn from our mistakes and what others do to us it always comes back to them in the end. I've even got burned myself on some items it's all about of how we recover when's this happens.

@jaymzway: Well I've ordered a 128GB replacement, at least on this one it doesn't have a sticker on the front, crossing fingers. And now I know what to look for, if it is a fake, I'll be able to take the appropriate action before the 45day period for claims runs out. Thanks for all your help.

@EarlyMon: that app is the bomb, glad to find out my 64GB was legit, the other 128GB comes up as SD Card is Invalid in the Manufacturer box, thankfully that one functions fine.

BTW: this is the new one I ordered, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/131410507985?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
