Help Change headphone type on one m8?

I can't change the headphone type. Its not displaying the right headphones. I have the AE-S in ear which came with my phone and the h/k Bluetooth headphones and no matter what I have connected it says H/K CL. Anyone know how to change it? It makes my music sound not as clear. also I can't disable live stage either. Not sure what to do really :/

Live Stage can only be disabled with headphones plugged in.

ClariFi can be turned off without headphones plugged in.

Is yours not like that?

It is. I'm more needing to change the headphone type back to the Ae-s profile.

I got it now lol you just touch the words live stage and it gives you a menu to change the profile!

I'm rooted and I run the ViperOneM8 rom (and then you would re-install the HK stuff, there's a package for that).

It's a Sense /stock rom on steroids, practically every little thing is theme-able.

I chose a number of status and notification bar themes and mixed and matched as I liked - same thing, red navbar and the overflow/menu button always on so I don't have to go looking for it.

Probably other ways to get the effects but that's how I did it.

Maybe I'll try that... Can u root the m8 like the note 3. Cuz I had my note 3 rooted and running cyanogenmod. So do know how to use custom Roms!

Yes, details are in our root forum here.

With the Note, you relied on an exploit and a lot of yadda yadda yadda.

Your root approach with an HTC will probably be far more direct in a lot of ways.

So far my HTC is 1000% better then Samsung and apple! I love how you can mod and customize android where u had to just live with iOS.
