Help Spontaneous Micro USB Port Combustion!

Apparently, a piece of lint had gotten lodged in the charger port on my phone. I plugged it into the car charger and suddenly it started to get very hot. The phone started malfunctioning and when I unplugged the charger, i found melted/burned fibers.

The phone was functional afterward but the port is shot. I can't charge the phone at all now. What the hell do I do?

I apologize for the lateness on responding, but if the USB port is shot, your best bet is either soldering a new port onto the motherboard. Shouldn't cost more than 15 bucks for everything, there are guides on YouTube for the specifics.
If that seems a little out of your league, you can order a whole new motherboard off of amazon and replace the whole thing easy as pie. Before replacing your motherboard, you'll want to back up any files that were saved to the device.
