Hello everyone,

Client gave me Samsung tab to repair. It boots up instant for recovery mode, after i wipe/factory reset it still boots in the same mode. So we decide to root and rom it. But the problem is that this model is very strange. Model name: GT-5200 ( in this case i dont think its GT-P5200, couse it is quit old one) . So i wonder if any of you could help to find a correct name for this tab, becouse i need to find correct rom. I will try to apload photos of it, but maybe name GT-5200 could say something to you...couse google just give me Gt-P5200 pages.

Sorry for my bad english, but maybe you can help me, thank you in advance.
 
What does it say on the reverse of the tablet? Also, have you tried emergency firmware recovery in Kies?
 
It says : Model GT-5200 FCC ID: A3L5100. This tablet is with 3G , wifi , 16gb.
And nop, i didnt tried that... but ill try it definatly.
 
Forgot to mention that Kies will identify it if you can connect
 
Sadly Tablet is in so strange condition than even usb drivers cant be installed. So Kies is not recognising any device... ;/

You're absolutely right.

The FCC id for the Samsung is A3LGTP5100.

Further googling revealed that this is a Chinese knock-off.
