Help I can only keep so many messages

I can only keep x amount of messages before they are deleted. I know this number can be changed in the settings because i have bumped it up before, but now i cant find it.

Which messaging app are you using? It should be somewhere in settings though.

Something else to consider is backing them up. I use SMS Backup + for certain contacts, it pops the texts to a folder in Gmail for safe keeping.

Just SMS, im just not sure where its at in the settings

Do have a look at the app I linked or others like it if you really want to keep messages. It sucks to lose them, especially if you don't have to
