Help Track ball already dirty and sticking

I have had my instinct since 10/15 and the track ball is already getting dirty and sticking. i have never used a phone with a track ball before so i am looking for tips and advice on how to clean it and keep it clean.

i usually keep my phone in my pocket when i am on the go and i guess it's the pocket lint in there.

anyone else having this problem yet?

Did you spill something on your Hero? Did you set it down in something? I am not having any issues with mine. Its not dirty or sticky. After less then 2 weeks it really shouldnt be unless you did something careless.

You might try cleaning it with an alcohol wipe.

Ha ha. My bad. I meant my Hero. No more instinct.

Q-tip with a little denatured alcohol.just turn off the phone. you can follow the similar steps used on the BB Tour...
