cellular radio off, wifi on?

I got a switch app off the market for it, works a treat. 1 for WiFi 1 for mobile and 1 for Bluetooth all side by side.

:confused: Ummm... the hero comes with widgets for that out of the box.

+ -> HTC Widget -> Settings

There are widgets for Wifi, Mobile network, GPS, Bluetooth and Airplane mode.
 
Mobile network just kills the data connection- the CDMA radio is still active and will calls/texts can still come in/be sent.

I want to be able to turn the CDMA radio off so I dont need too worry about the phone ringing at 1 am.

When airplane mode is enabled, everything is killed- wifi cannnot be turned on until airplane mode is disabled which of course turns the CDMA radio back on.

I dont see an easy way to do this.

There are lot off apps out there on the Market for on/off widgets like this. I guess they're usable on a vanilla Android, which doesn't have HTC's on/off widgets.

Best I can suggest is hold down the power button and select silent mode (and then disabling all the data connectivity).

Unless you mean you don't want anyone else to be able to ring you at all (not just you don't want to be woken up) in which case oi dunno!
 
Hey Im also looking for a way to do it,,
and totally understand the need to be offline,but still on wifi
i digged every possible switcher and still,didnt find....
im sure there's a way
