A new problem with my S3... It's rooted and the battery is swollen (I ordered a replacement battery as soon as I noticed it). Also, my phone is rooted (which I'm not making any use of but anyway). Except the quick battery drain and stuff, my phone is also lagging and not responding a lot. It will install apps from Google Play Store only after several tries or even restarts (a restart doesn't seem to fix the problem). So I'm just wondering - is this because the battery is completely f**ked up (the phone will freeze at like 50% battery life and turn off, and you can't turn it on if you don't plug it in). Just wondering if this is mainly the battery problem and if my battery replacement gonna solve it, or if it the problem related to the fact that my phone is rooted?

Compared to a lithium fire, a couple of days without a phone is really not so bad (and if you think I'm joking, I really am not).

^this. There is a lot of energy stored in a battery, you don't want to take changes with one that is malfunctioning.
