GTA San Andreas too big?

I paid for the game and it downloads and then says there's insufficient space and just deletes after I try to install it and it's basically impossible to free up enough internal storage. I tried downloading an apk after I paid for it that supposedly lets me just run it from my sd card. Didn't work. It's a compatible game. What do I do now? I'm rooted

Link2sd would work if I could get it to install in the first place and it seems to need to install to internal

He's right, you'll need to use link2sd to free up the space. But that game lags way to bad on our phone, it's somewhat playable even with the lowest graphics settings.

Its not that bad when you use gltools, lowering the textures and resolution to an average of 30fps.

I for example use it in Gta:SA because of the unplayable lag. I lower the resolution and textures to make it playable on the volt.
It also has a handy fps counter on screen too.
