Root Mods for the Samsung Avant

Is it safe to remove Quick Connect Interaction and the Quick Connect, Samsung Push Service, Samsung Syncadapters, Sapa Monitor, Tags, TalkBack, Travel Wallpaper, VPN client, wssyncmlnps apps?

I've already tripped knox will I benefit from the Knox removal ? WOW just read what CarrierIQ does Thanks for the remover.

Yeah, Knox can sometimes interfere with root related actions and give you annoying notifications about "unauthorized actions" that it has detected. As far as carrierIQ goes, I don't like my service provider having a back door into my phone that let's them snoop.

There's one bundled into AOKP, dfuse is doing a great job of adding governors
EDIT: Ninja'd >.>

I am wondering if you have a mod to make the tether_dun_required value stick to 0.

thanks
No I don't. Try the thread "Avant Free Tethering" it will show you how to setup WiFi Tether Router which will enable hotspot and hide your tethering usage.

I have tried the method mentioned in the above thread. However, the method does not support 5ghz hotspot.
Also, the speeds are not as fast as on the phone.

Nvm. I flashed it and it seemed the system apps that were suppose to be removed are still there even thoe in recovery it says complete. Do I redownload or something? How do I ch exk if it disabled Knox or not since the debloater didn't work

Its been downloaded 431 times and this is the first time anyone has had a problem so I'd be inclined to say that you did something wrong.

Sorry I probably did. In the stock rom all I did is go into TWRP recovery then went and flashed the debloater. Did I skip something? Does it only work in a factory reset phone? ( I did make a backup just in case) and drop box' Google drive and a lot of the carrier apps were still there.

Did you flash anything else before you rebooted your phone?

Thank know you!! I factory reset it and just on case (I had messed a lot with the file system ) I flashed the stock metro rom and then root like you did. After installing twrp I flashed the debloater and it worked there is time awesome. I have no idea why it didn't work before because that's the only file I had flashed that time. But thanks any way its awesome not having to guess which are important.
