Root Lg f60 metro pcs

Yeah 4-12 seems to be booting fine with systemUI running where as the 4-7 build sometimes was unusable with no nav or notification bars. Hopefully there are no random silent systemUI crashes in this build.

Don't expect too much. I'm familiar with building for devices but haven't really completed any thing (last device i made something for I couldn't get the WiFi drivers)

I'm still using the stock rom 4.2.2 and was wondering if I flashed CM12 if I would be able to wifi tether without problems

Currently I'm using the USB tether method with hide usage 1 on

I found android lollipop source code. I will build that and upload it for you guys here. Maybe the f60 will get android lollipop after all. But first I gotta get through my finals D:
That would be great... Especially a working camera on lollipop

I am on lollipop and can use WiFi tether router with no problems. Camera not working on lollipop though, don't know if that matters to you. Only other issue I've had is with screen rotation on videos, maybe user specific.

Also.. The guy I said I'll create a Unix version of the root: I'll get to that tonight or tomorrow. It would be great if you could post the windows root here again so I don't have to search for it again.

There's a difference between cyanogenmod and googles lollipop
Yeah there's a huge difference because cm merged in codeaurora which is qcom open source code which makes support for qcom boards much easier working with aosp means your going to need a lot of work done. It would be easier to work with caf L source but regardless of what L source you use our kernel is outdated GPU and all need updated because it's basically incompatible with the current display hal of google and cm.

Him. Well lg has provided android l source code. So I'm assuming that kernel is updated. Still downloading the android 5 source from Google. Feels like I'm downloading all the versions (takes for ever)

Wifi tethering works for the most part but the connection may hang during a long period of use. If your trying to connect with a laptop, you can spoof the user agent flag as a mobile device but you won't be able to use other applications that connect to the internet directly (I don't see why I need to pay more so that a "bigger" computer can connect to my network).

The 1gb package of v20a lollipop does include kernel source for the ms395
Didn't see that I'm just getting back into the development game. So I'm downloading that and beginning the merge into the caf based kernel tag which we already identified. I still need to diff all 4 variants kernel source to ensure it supports all variants so far ms395 is the only variant with kernel source for L available.

Apologies I understand now didn't know they released kernel source. Is the firmware released ? Using L source and kk blobs most likely the camera is still going to be broken.
