Root [Sprint] Failed to delete.

VinnyMilan

Newbie
So I rooted my phone and I'm already having issues (Which I had expected). I have TWRP I made a backup on my internal storage by mistake, now I can't get rid of it,

Normal file browser with root access says "Failed to delete" and when I hold it down and select delete it does nothing.

ES File explorer shows the folder as a question mark, with no size and fails to delete

TWRP file browser does not show storage folder

Root Browser does not show TWRP folder.

Trying to delete from computer fails with protected system files error.

Ideas?

Try deleting it with TWRP Recovery

I found it, its inside the recovery option before you recovery. Unfortunately I found it after breaking the phone trying to use fix permissions.

Time for a rom flash? Assuming you can get into TWRP?
What device and carrier?
Galaxy S5 Sprint,
I'm in TWRP, I'm going to try a wipe before I try to restore the backup. How important was backing up data? I thought it was just pictures, videos ect. So I didn't.

Well I couldn't restore it, so I wiped, factory reset. I'm guessing that just cleared out everything. Do I have to root it again and install TWRP? I didn't backup on my computer.

A factory reset will not unroot you.
You also should still have TWRP. ;)
What state is you device in at the moment?

Edit: moved the thread into the S5 root forum for others' input too ;)

Its just after the questions before getting to the phone, I have synced nothing. When I hold the buttons to start in recovery it didn't start. I guess I'll try quick boot.
