The idea of using a root explorer to install a recovery is a new one on me.

That link discusses a root explorer with a Nook and an app.

Do you have a link to the instructions you followed?

What model phone is it?

i actually found a way to do it.
i need to get the official rom and exract it onto a sd card into a folder named dload and wait for the device to flash. the thing is that, i dont have a sd reader and my phones are f***** up and appereantly the system ui stops when i try to enter usb mass storage(worked perfectly 5 mins ago -_-) and yea i need to buy one.
but in most cases, i hear that the flashing part fails.
so, what do i do if this fails?
all ive got a is a purple screen.

part that I followed.

part that told me the fix.

more detailed fix.

Yeah, the reason for the brick is covered in another thread - there is more than one submodel involved and more than one recovery floating around.

Unfortunately, that thread violated a lot of rules so the links were removed.

Sounds like the fix will work for you - hope so.

Maybe the link above has info to help you search for the right recovery for your version.

Pro tip - always read old threads, look for fixes for problems first, because often people move on and you can't an answer later.

Keep me posted, sounds like you should be OK.

what if that method fails? HOPE IT WONT.
i still have a purple screen, wich is download mode.
gonna try the fix later, im smh so hard right now i need to rest.

That's an excellent idea in my personal experience.

I've always found it best to walk away and destress before proceeding.

If it's permanently bricked the time off won't matter and if it's not, saving it goes a lot smoother after a time out.

That's always worked for me.

I did it!
It was a huge story tho. I went to 3 shops to buy a card reader, then I've downloaded the files from the tut I followed. Went smoothly. No errors. The thing is that it rebooted 3 times, 1 first it rebooted to rec to do a factory reset I mean it was smart, then another one then another one with succes. Pre installed chinese crap gonna make him mad but its good.
for him, I did 0 progress, but for me, I took another level. A unique way to fix a device! A pretty smart device this Huawei was.

Hes gonna be pissed like yo i gave you a phone a whole day and you put me chinese breaking news? Hahaha still worth it, thanks everyone and another case solved.

If you're gonna get Huawei's is gonna be easy to fix them if you do the same stuff as I did.
I'll come with an interesting thread soon.
