Help link sent to last pass instead of chrome browser

I have an annoying problem. When I select a link in an email it is sent to Last Pass instead of my Chrome browser. Last Pass, which is not open, requires a password and even then sometimes will not open the link. Is there some way I can eliminate this from happening? I have a Nexus 7 (2013) running android 5.2. Thanks.

Clear defaults for lastpass. At some point you set it as the default for that action. Go into settings/apps/downloaded, and scroll down to lastpass and click on it. Then click "clear defaults"
