Who knows really. It would all really depend on how much current the battery can output and over how much time can it sustain a level current. Also you would need to factor in cost and package size, weight, heat output, etc. And who knows, by the time those get mainstream there may be a new battery technology that would be more promising. Usually ideas/products like this are built as a stepping stone to open funding to explore newer technologies.
