Help HELP NEEDED : Fonts just broke

Hey,

So many of my fonts actually got replaced either by squares either by blanks instead of the actual text, this causes me to have no more emojis and many fonts not working.

I already tried doing a factory reset but it seems like it doesn't affect the system files as they still have the exact same problem.

Does anyone know what does it come from or how to get these back, I don't mind if I've to delete everything from the phone to get it back to normal.

PS : I do not have any backup file.

It's more likely that the fonts got removed than replaced, and what you are seeing is because the phone can't find the right font.

So, did these fonts come with the phone or did you install them yourself? And is the phone rooted? If they were pre-installed and the phone not rooted you shouldn't be able to do anything to them. So the third question: what changed or what did you do before they were lost? It's easier to fix a problem if we know how it happened, because that should tell us what needs fixing.

Actually is that a screenshot of Rom Toolbox?
 
The phone is indeed rooted but I did not remove any fonts as I know, what I did before they were lost is adding an apple emoji .ttf file
 
Well I would suggest finding a flashable stock font package or a rooted ROM for your device if you have a custom recovery (the same firmware you are running) or if there's Odin files available that'd be a way to go...overwrite whatever hiccup may have occurred when you were playing with the fonts.
What device/carrier/firmware do you have BTW?
 
I've a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (GT-I9195), the phone isn't locked to any carrier and i've no idea about the firmware. Thank you for your help guys, really appreciated

Do a Google search for "xda Odin guide" (read it thoroughly) and find the firmware needed on sammobile.com/firmware
