Hi, I am a layman in terms of app development .
I want to let develop an app that offers a search function in the first place.
The app should look at several predefined web pages for specific content.
If the user enters a term in the app , the app will periodically search for such content in the appropriate pages and provide a link to the address.

Is that technically possible ?

yes its possible. fairly easy to do in fact.
