thtas is not trueYou can only use up to a 32gb sd card on the Zmax.
Just giving info straight from what I see.thtas is not true
mine has been working since i bought the phone in aprilAccording to official specs of the Zmax, it only supports up to a 32gb card. I would use caution using anything higher than a 32. His 64 may work fine... Until he really needs it...
Thanks for the info chief. I didn't know anything higher then a 32gb would work if a phone said it would only support up to a 32.It only says it works with a 32gb because it does not support the exfat file system, which is the default file system for 64gb cards. All you have to do is put the card in the phone and it will say blank SD card or unsupported file system and it will ask if you want to format the card. Press yes and it will format the card as fat32 which is the default file system for a 32gb card and then you will have 58 or 59gb of free space. I have used 64gb cards in five different phones that all claimed to only support cards up to 32gb and it has never caused me any problems. I'm not saying this is true for all phones that don't claim support for 64gb cards but my 64 gb card works fine with the zmax.
SanDisk announced what many of us knew about that spec being wrong and Phandroid put it to the test, finding that most everything thrown at it could support 128 GB.Thanks for the info chief. I didn't know anything higher then a 32gb would work if a phone said it would only support up to a 32.
Of course they do it on the 1 day of the week when more than half of america is broke. Corporate trolls lol
- I have a ZTE Magesty pro. 16 gb built in storage. Which I thought I could only use a 16 gb sd card. But then I tried a 32 gb sd card n it worked. Still wanting more storage, I tried a 64 gb sd card. A 64 gb pny micro SD card n to my surprise, it worked as well. However, I still need more space, so I'm wondering if I can use a pny 128 gb micro card since the 64 SD card worked?will i be able to use a 128 GB micro SD card, or has anyone ever tried?
