Help Google Photos - will not load into Text messaging

I just loaded Google Photos. While viewing the file, I attempt to send a photo to Text Messaging. The photo will NOT load. What is the issue?
 
What messaging app are you using?

I am able to send pics from Google Photos through Hangouts with no trouble. It loads and converts to MMS and is ready to send quite quickly.

I use TEXT which comes with my Droid 4. I have used that to send Photos prior to installing Google Photos
 
While viewing the photo you select the 'share' icon and then text? What does it do, does it open a new text (or an existing one depending on who you are sending to) or does it not even do that? Do you get any sort of error message?

I just tried using the default messaging app on my Moto X 2nd gen and it would have worked if it was enabled.

Try a different messaging app and see if it works (Textra, Hangouts, Google Messenger, Handcent etc.).

Thx. Will try a different Messaging app. When I open the photo, share and select Text Messaging, it opens a new Text message but gives the following error: Unknown Error. Sorry, you cannot add this picture to your message.

Just installed Hangouts...I view a photo select Hangouts. It moves to that app then says. Can't find photo...
 
Yup works for me with Google Messenger app for me :thumbsupdroid:
PS I'm loving Photos, its taken over as my primary gallery app :)
