No root alternative to xposed??

Hey guys, I highly doubt this exists, and if it does would be far inferior to that of xposed but, I'm wondering if there is anything like it around for us non rooted, not wanting to root users? Sure I could install a whole bunch of apps, but if there is a single app that has many options ect/ something I can script for to make my own, that'd be awesome..

I was more thinking of like an ultimate custization suite.. For non rooted devices. But this was my thought as well, I mean xposed is system level, but I was more hoping for status bar customization that also did widgets, changes to the launcher ect. Just all in one package. But any who thanks for the input

Impossible bro, root is the thing which allows full administration access, which cannot be used for non root users, the modifying or customizing the status bar(system things..)needs root... Well if u love customisation root your phone and try xposed..

I'm sorry I've actually edited the status bar without root.. I'm just looking for a suite of different launcher items... Something like a super powered version of Zooper widgets... Not changing settings visuals i understand my limitations not being rooted, but you can change the status bar (as an example) without root...

Changed what quick settings shortcut?
 
http://ssb.firezenk.com/guide/#.VXyJhPko7qA this is the guys website. It's called "super status bar" and that's just one.. I found another that just adds a battery indicator above your status bar and over all apps (so you can see your battery level whilst playing a game) supser status bar can also replace the notifications shade but I wasn't too much a fan of that so I turned that part off
 
Think I tried that app before and it basically just puts an overlay over the statusbar and sometimes there's a lag with it covering it? (probably improved by now though)

Well all I know now is that it's not shabby, its worked great for me, but I want it to be part of a suite. I don't want to download several apps, my programming skills are not what they used to be or I'd make it myself.. Sad day, I'm thinking this is only a feebled dream of a no root dreamer lol

Fully encompassing the REAL reason I don't move to root.. I learn and root my old devices, but breaking warranty to continually update ROMS (even if you don't need ROMS but cmon, if your going to do it, do it) that's for those of us who aren't lazy! :p

I've thought abt just doing that, its all I do to my old devices but I'm just too darn lazy, not to mention the few times I've gathered the fruition, it tells me unsupported device and asks if I'm sure and I say no.. Cuz then I think of all the re downloading of apps I'll have to do... Baaah

Why can't u buy xiaome phone , it gives full warranty even u root, I love xiaome(mine is xiaome redmi note 4g), this phone give me lot of oppurtunity to customize, if we flash the custom ROM the warranty goes off..but after flashing stock ROM we can get back the lost warranty,....(the stock ROM is miui which is the best ROM considered)

Might be in North America and with a CDMA/EV-DO carrier, like Verizon or Sprint. That would be a very good reason why you can't have a Xiaomi. Or any other "imported" Chinese phones, like OnePlus, Meizu, Oppo, etc, all of which are nicely open and unlocked, well supported by custom ROMs, rooting doesn't void warranty, etc.

Other things are, have to buy them on-line, any problems that do require warranty service, you have to ship them back to Hong Kong and wait, no courtesy loner phone available while yours is being repaired or replaced, and they're not carrier subsidized, you pay full retail prices.

Why hong Kong or other abroad, just give to local service center, coz now companies service center are abroad in world,.. but I don't know about northern..

I know in the US and Canada, there are no local service centres for Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo and Meizu. They have to go back to Hong Kong. Same for the EU as well, those companies have no physical presence there either, well Oppo has a service presence in London for the EU, Oppo Style, which you have to do on-line(no personal callers), but that service has been reported to be awful on many occasions.

Frankly "around the world" means "Asia" really. If you're in China, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, etc, no problems. there's plenty of authorized local walk-in service agents for them. Don't know much about Latin America or Africa, don't seem to hear too much about what goes on there, and what devices and brands are popular.

No other unauthorized service agents can touch them, because they just don't have the information or parts to carry out repairs or replacements.


This is Xiaomi's international site.."Global Home" means you're dealing with them in Hong Kong, Yeh, could be very much "abroad", depending on where you are.
