I installed cm12, I could not get data working, so I restored from my backup I did prior to installing cm12.

Now my phone is stuck in a boot loop. I can't even get into twrp. I can't power it off.

I KNEW I shouldn't of tried cm12 until it was fully ready

Please help me

I was only on there a couple minutes. Couldn't get data working, so I powered off then booted into twrp, did the restore, and my phone keeps doing the stupid t-mobile bringing you closer screen

OK somehow I was able to get it to boot into twrp, so I am reinstalling cm12, and hopefully I can get it to boot up...

u need to set the apn ! for data to work . i dont think u should be playing with your phone if you have no clue what you are doing

make sure you have system mounted in mounts before flashing, restoring, wiping, booting..
the only time you can't mount system is after flashing a switch in BUTTERNOOB or in stock Rom...
all partitions automatically mount in TWRP ....system..a lot of the time won't...and if it refuses to...reboot recovery....sounds monotonous..and I've said it repetitively I know..
but, making that part of the routine...constantly checking...has cut my bootloops to 0...
it's not always the cause..but, it can be missed as being one..

I got it working. After getting stuck in the bootloop, I probably restarted 100 times trying to access twrp. It finally booted into twrp. From there, I installed everything again, but followed the process I used to flash BNv2. And got everything working. I was having the issue of screen freezing when getting an incoming call. After flashing the Redbull zip, everything works great. Save for it taking like 2 mins to be able to access my phone after a reboot. Which is no more than a minor annoyance

dont worry about people calling you names or telling you not to mess with your phone. we were all there once and the only way to learn is to **** up .. there is really nothing you can do that cant be fixed (almost nothing) . so ask questions, mess around with the roms etc and enjoy learning !! you will get better with each phone you own!

The thing is, I have rooted phones for years, but this is my 1st experience with a custom ROM. I mean I just spent the last almost 4 hours rooting a lg g2 and a moto g. I am far from a noob when it comes to rooting, but am the butterest of noobs when it comes to custom ROMs. However, I am REALLY enjoying learning adb.
