Dear All,

I change my sim card & i occured with Limited services message after turn on the cell phone (HTC E8)
Please guide for solution this problem.

BR
Mehran

Has the new SIM been activated yet? If not, either wait a while or speak to your carrier.

In any event it sounds almost certain that the problem is with the SIM, so if you think it should already be active you should speak to your carrier.

Where are you what country, who's your carrier, did you buy the phone new or second hand? Limited service, is it doing "emergency calls only"? Carrier IMEI blacklisting is a possibility with second hand phones.

@Chain Translator I went through this two days ago, after upgrading my handset. Normally it takes a maximum of 24hrs (in the UK) for a SIM swap to happen, but occasionally (as in my case) it gets "stuck" in the system and doesn't provision correctly.

If it's not resolved after 48hrs give your network a call and ask them to check that the swap has completed correctly; the chances are good that a simple 're-push' at their end will correct things within minutes.
