Help Can't Transfer Vido Files to PC

Azar Tuse

Lurker
I took several videos and for some reason I cannot transfer them to my computer. I get an error code 80004005. Has anyone found a fix for this?

Can you please elaborate some here? What device? How are you tranfering? With explorer? Have you tried using airdroid to transfer the files?

I would link but using app on my phone. Its a great program that doesn't need a cable.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using a Motorola Moto G. I've tried transferring the files using explorer straight and by trying to import them as well. They are on my phone's internal memory; I don't have an SD card to try and move them there. Some files will transfer, but I have 6 that just won't go.

Have not yet tried airdroid.

Edit: Tried Airdroid. It can't see the files. They are visible in Windows Explorer but not Airdroid and now there are only 4, not 6. I suspect I'm screwed.

Never had an issue with airdroid not seeing something hmmm.

This maybe a round about way to try but have you considered just uploading them to the cloud and then downloading to your pc? If you still have issues even getting them to upload then its looking like your not going to get them. :(

Yeah, I tried that too but it didn't work. The files are corrupted now as well and won't play on my phone anymore either. This is the first time anything like this has happened; never had a problem before. I've scanned my phone for viruses using the Avast app but it comes back clean.

It seems to me if other programs of a similar nature are also having the same issue then its bad coding. Maybe the recorder app corrupts the files inadvertently.

Unfortunately no I have no interest in recording my calls. They are mostly from bill collectors anyway ;)

Is it becuase of the video format incompatibility? If this is true, use a video converter to make it compatible with your phone.
