When I go the the recent app screen somtimes I swipe on the screen and a little screen pops up like its folding the edge of a paper and I can't figure out how to do it again.

I've never seen that happen on my phone, and I was just playing around a bit - swiping left and right removes apps from the list, but that's all I can do with a swipe. Let us know if you ever figure this out...

I go into Kindle from my phone and the brightness used to be fine, now it's dim. I have the brightness set to high on the setting. Why did it just start dimming when I go to read a book?

Ok, thought I posted this a couple of weeks ago but don't see it so here goes again.
I'd like to run my Ultra on T-mobile.
So far, it seems that it will not hook up to the cellular signal for internet access.
It does send and receive phone calls, however and does hook up via WiFi.
I baffled.
Any ideas?

I haven't tried my Droid Maxx on T-Mobile, but I did save this post from xda - does it help?

Hi, I've owned a Droid Ultra for 18 months, and suddenly the microphone went dead. Specs indicate the mic is at the bottom of the phone, but when I check for replacement part on Ebay, the part replaces the top of the phone including the speaker. A technician at a repair shop says the mic at bottom of phone is part of the motherboard, and can't be replaced. So my question is, is there a second mic at the top of the phone? And if so, when does it normally engage?
Thanks,
Dave

There are three microphones, one at the bottom front, which is the primary mike, particularly for phone calls. There is one on the back at the bottom - if I recall correctly, there are three small holes for that. This is used for video taken by the main camera, but also, I believe, for noise cancellation for phone calls. Finally there is one at the top back. Again, that may be the primary for video, and it's also used for noise cancellation. It may also be that the back mikes are used when the phone is face down in speakerphone mode. (That part I'm not sure about...)

Hello, my family has 3 droid ultras. Every one of them have the same problem. While you are on the web, the phone will freeze, then shutdown and reboot. I've tried soft reset, factory reset, run in safe mode and still does the same thing. It can happen at anytime with no warning except screen freezes. This can happen while phone is plugged in, or not, and it happens while using WiFi or not using WiFi. In other words, it just happens any time it wants to. We all love these phones, except for this very annoying problem.
Is there anything else I can try to resolve this issue

It could be an issue with an app running in the background.

Are you running any anti-virus/anti-malware apps? If so, try uninstalling them.

Another idea is to try a replacement launcher app. I used to have spontaneous reboots with my Maxx that seemed to go away when I replaced the launcher. The Google now launcher is a free replacement. Worth a try...

Thank you, I'll give that a try and see if that helps.
