My daughter posted on Facebook today, how excited she is that Target is "finally putting in self checkouts". As if more self checkouts is a good thing

I actually do use the self-checkout if given the chance. At my local wal-mart it's actually improved pretty well to where there are very few errors. It's also a card-only, no cash machine. The majority of the folks that shop at my wal-mart do not have their lives together enough to be able to obtain a debit or credit card....that means no line for the self-checkout.

Talking to a coworker when I realized my pocket was getting pretty warm. Pulled out my phone and it's going through the app optimization process that it does after an update.....I don't recall getting any updates or choosing to install them. I got the stagefright patch a week ago and installed it then, so I should be up to date?


EDIT: finished and booted. Still on the same build.

There is an app called Gravity Screen that automatically shuts off your screen when you put it in your pocket or lay it down. Works great for me.
