Circle Case & Qi Wireless Charging

Just wanted to let everybody know that, if you're willing to wait a couple of weeks to receive items from Hong Kong, you can (as I did) get what appears to be a genuine LG G4 Circle Case with wireless charging and NFC for less than $4, and a wireless charging pad (with auxiliary USB port and short USB cable) for $5. If you're interested, I'll post the specific eBay items or vendors, but there are many similar ones at around the same prices (Buy It Now postings, no bidding required). I've been very pleased with both.

I kid you not. I'll get the relevant info tonight and post it here. (The case even comes in a choice of black, white or gold :-))

In the meantime, you can pretend you have a circle case (to see the different clock faces and other "circle stuff") by placing a small magnet on the screen near the left edge, a little above the midway line.
I'll post the purchase info later tonight.

Hey Jacques. Sounds very good. Please reply and post the link and vendors for authentic LG G4 circle case with NFC back and also wireless charging pad with adapter. Thank You.
 
By the way, once you have your circle case, you *must* install "Quick Circle Apps" by Yoav Sternberg (not literally must, more like you owe it to yourself): great collection of tools for your circle case, like calculator, compass, dialer, flashlight ("torch"), voice recorder, scanner, quick toggles, stopwatch, timer, etc., all selectable/optional (you even get dice and a magic eight ball). The app is free, and is advertised for the G3 but works perfectly with the G4.
 
Wow the first seller has 400 negatives and the second seller 5,000 negatives, hate those kind of sellers. I got my pink circle case last week and so far so good. I had a hard time finding a pink one. Mary

I suppose that's the pessimistic way to look at it. I saw 98.2% and 98.6% positive feedback on well over 100,000 and 600,000 transactions, so I took the plunge, and glad I did.
There's somebody in my neck of the woods on Long Island, NY selling the genuine LG pink circle case with Qi & NFC for $12.31, ... but you wouldn't have liked him either: only 98.3% positive feedback on about 7000 transactions. :-)

I just know a few times when friends ordered from sellers like that concerning cell phone stuff it didn't end well. My case came from the UK and took less than 2 weeks so I am happy. I had posted here and the site I used someone said they were ok so I may get the stand up quick charger from that site too. Mary

It doesn't work perfectly on my G4 I'm afraid. The voice recorder is useless. I eventually found the recording files deep down in my SD card's video files but it doesn't mesh properly with the built-in voice recorder.

I would also add that no one should download the other app 'Quick Circle Notifications' by another developer . It is seriously flawed and cannot be deleted. See my comments on Google Play.
 
The vast majority of the Quick Circle Apps features do work very nicely on the G4. As for that other app ("Notifications"), I did try it at some point and did run across the "roadblock" it puts up when you try to uninstall it from the Settings | Apps screen, but I was able to get rid of it using its Uninstall button in the Play Store app.

Thanks for the link. I ordered one and have to say, not real happy. The back doesn't snap on completely. I'm not mad. only 5 bucks. But buyer should beware. This is a cheap counterfeit case

Can you post a picture of the case you got? I did have to carefully work the back to ensure it snapped on perfectly (don't be afraid to apply pressure to the edges), after which the front cover lay flat better (though it took a week or so before it relaxed and lay completely flat). If mine is a fake, it's a damn good one. :-)
