Help Frequent Used Apps on Top

Bought Moto G3 last week. Earlier, it used to display the recently used 4 apps on the top of app list. However, Its not been showing the same since last 3-4 days. Not sure on which option I disabled it.
Can anyone help ?

Would be even more helpful, if someone can reply to my email iD >> naveenchhillar@gmail.com about it.

I'll reply here in the public forum. Do you have the Google Now launcher installed, or the default Moto launcher? It's the Google Now that provides the most recent apps in the first line.

Many thanks for the reply.
Apologies for asking this stupid question. What is Google Launcher & how do we use it ?
Google Launcher is a 3rd party launcher that you can get from the Play Store (just happens to be made by Google). Go and search for it and you'll find it. Install it and use it just like any other app. Only this will take the place of the default launcher, if you tell it to the first time you run it (the system will ask you if you want to make it the default launcher, go ahead and say yes).

Well, I can do that.
But, I believe I used to get the frequent app on top of the list (despite not using Google Launcher). Are you aware about any such option ?

Google Now launcher is the Moto G3's default launcher, there is no on or off for that option, it should just there. Try clearing the data on Google Now Launcher and opening a couple apps and see if it reappears.

I normally use Nova Launcher, but switched back to test and it was just there.
