EVO Accessories: Whats your must haves?

- (2) Charging docks (1 for work...1 for home)
- Screen protector
- Case (prefer a leather pouch like the BBs came with)

I was gonna put this down also, but then I realized that with the kickstand, I may not actually need or want the charging dock. The only thing that makes me want the charging dock (at least for work) is because Sense UI doesn't go to landscape mode.

I guess i'm not familiar with how the EVO works when it comes to charging. I prefer to just throw it in a dock instead of plugging in a wire. With my Blackberry, it can charge via two copper pieces on the back of the phone. So there is really no physical connection like plugging in a cable.

Is the HDMI Dock the same as the Charging Dock? It would be great if anyone knows this?

Not too familiar with Blackberry (always thought it charged via mini-usb, based on other ones I've seen).

The plug is a micro-USB to USB chord that has a removable AC adaptor piece (I'm guessing, since this has typically been HTC's form factor for its past devices...with exception to mini-USB being the old connector for the phone). Since the EVO has the kickstand, the only "real" advantage to having a dock would be to read the phone in portrait position, since Sense UI doesn't have a landscape mode (yet).

The HDMI dock, from the picture that someone posted, will have both a HDMI plug in AND a micro-usb connector, which should allow you to charge the device at the same time as watching HD video. I'd imagine that with the micro-usb connector on that dock, there'll be a chord connected w/ AC plug, that you can plug into a wall outlet.

-2 Car Chargers (one for ea. car)
-Additional USBtoPC Cable (For Work or Travel Use)
-Additional Travel Charger
-Steinheil Anti Finger Print Screen Protector
-Either a Holster/Beltclip Leather Case or something similar to protect

The blackberry could be charged two different wasy:

1. Micro-USB
2. Charging Contacts on the back of the phone (See image below. Charging contacts are to the right/left of the battery cover latch.). This is what is used when placed into a dock.
