Help SD card issues

I have a Kyocera phone with boost. Last night for no apparent reason I could no longer access certain apps and all of my photos just disappeared. When I checked on SD card it says I need to mount it though one is already there. How do I recover my data and photos?

Put card in another device or PC to see if your files still exist. If not: you may need a new one

Is there anyway of retrieving the data on the SD card. I tried reading it via a photo thingy at walmart but they say no data exist. My PC has no way for me to insert it.

Have you tried another phone/device or PC? A real PC, not Walmart Photoshop deal..

Try Google Photos for your pics. It seems using the camera saves them to Google Photos. I still have stuff from 2008 on Google Photos that I never realized we're being backed up there. No idea about the data though.

Thank you it would appear all my photos were on the Sd card. My phone was set up to save everything there
