Thak you, as you see i didn't post a link to my game, so i respect your rulesHi @M3tthew and welcome to Android Forums
I moved your question into the Application Development development subforum since fellow developers will be able to provide the best suggestions on how to promote your game.
I will, however, state that questions like these tend to turn into a spam-fest so I'll be watching closely. Hopefully someone will be able to provide some useful ideas without simply promoting their own products or services.
Good luck!
Actually i did the fb page & Vk. But i'm looking for something more specificWell from what I've seen with other apps/games, I notice they usually have a website, if not just for the game, then certainly for the developer.
You can also promote the game on social media, creating a Facebook page seems like a very good step.
Hi M3tthew, here's some tips for you:So i did my first android game, and now i need to do a good marketing for it, the problem is that i'm absolutely new with it. What the first steps should be?
i changed my play market page a lot, right now i'm running a/b test with my new game icon.Hey @M3tthew ,
I think what we as app developers (not marketers) often forget is that app marketing (Android, iOS, and the rest) start at the app/play store. Sharing on social media platforms such as FB, G+, Twitter and others are important as @Silva_Xu mentioned, but they will eventually link to your app's page in the play store. If your app store page is not attractive, it won't convert well. So it's important to have your app store page optimized, with good description, nice icons, effective app screenshots, etc. When that's done, then spread the word through blog post, emails, social media share, forums, words of mouth...
Just my 0.02
great, thanqYou might also want to look at discovery services like Tapdaq.com (free)... Haven't really use them, but I'm about to try with one of my apps/games... seems very interesting..
