special plan code? so Everything Data Plan will not work

Sounds like the plan will have a different code in their system to allow certain other features like hotspot, or any future addons or changes. It will not be different as far as we are concerned...ie: prices will be the same as per Dan Hesse's comments at CTIA.

Sweet. Engadget just had a new post about the EVO requiring a new plan, but if this is just a "tagging" of the account, then I'm hoping that I can still go through the SERO replacement; Sprint Everything Plus Referral.

Hopefully I'm reading that right.

I'm excited for tomorrow... bring it on.

Waiting for confirmation on EPRP (Everything Plus Referral Program), and if it works on the EVO

perhaps they will make new Everything Plus Referral Program?

Well, that was the new plan that took the place of SERO when they started phasing that out. Hopefully you can keep it but even if you couldn't you will pay less than any other carrier.

Through your Best Buy contact? Do you (or him / her) know if you can sign UP for that plan at Best Buy during the preorder?

I'm still on SERO right now, and assuming EPRP is a valid EVO plan, I need to convert over to EPRP and I'm not sure if Best Buy can do that or not.

i'm still on old Sero... i won't move to Everything Plus Referral Program until i get confirmation that it works...

Right now they don't even track 4g usage only 3g

That was what I understood but with all of the rumors about special plans it was the one thing I wanted to make sure of. Companies have history of that kind of fail right at the height of success.

nope you cannot sign up for EPRP @ bestbuy. however you can call in to sprint and ask to swap ur Sero to EPRP. they may ask for the employee email and code to verify you were a referral. this shouldn't be a problem. but it can't be done @ retail stores
All Best Buy's or just the area you're in?

I duno, but this is a norcal store

I think the plan is the same, but a code for the evo similar to the blackberry. It is internal

Scared me for a second. With 3 phones on my account, I didn't want to have to change my plan, just because I'm getting an EVO. I'm still not sure about the other 2 lines getting the EVO, so this would've been a bad thing.

Maybe they have added a way to track it. But as of Our last billing cycle they don't..

Definitely think the hotspot feature will be more.

I am Still not believing the June 6 release date..

You're right. TouchFlo3D was the predecessor of the Sense UI. However, one big difference was that you COULD turn TF3D off since its just a custom theme over winmo, and winmo is not open source where as Android is, so that is why Sense is more than just a complex theme that you can turn and off. It is extremely far embedded into the OS itself that the phone would become inoperable if the UI is to be removed.

Sorry if I'm rehashing something that's already been settled but if I'm not mistaken I had the hero for a min when it first came out and I was able to disable the sense ui and just got with stock android.. I also remember reading articles illustrating what steps to take in the menus to enable it.. Now that could've been hero specific at the time and also in the younger version of sense but from what I know it's the same overlay on top of the os as tf3d

That's fine with me. I don't plan on using their hotspot feature if it is a monthly add-on. I only tether a few times a year so I can settle for other methods.

Any time after June 1st is fine with me as well.
