I have looked and have not seen this question asked yet. The area I live in just recently got 3g. Everything I see about the EVO says 3g/4g...will it still operate on the 1x network? At my house I am constantly switching between 3g and 1x. I would hate to buy this phone and not be able to use it at my house.

it can use 1x-rtt(2g) ev-do(3g) and 4g
