Yeah, it's on par for the typical video game movie, still a shame though, because the video game franchise itself is pretty great.

Plus I had read that the original creator has a good bit of involvement with the film which gave me some hope, but it's not looking good.

I am not taking up for anyone but so far every one that has given us dates said June 6 and they were all wrong including what BlueScreen(not taking a shot at you BlueScreen cause I appreciate the info you gave us) told us earlier today but things change I don't blame BlueScreen for giving us the wrong date thats probably what he or she was told and unless he or she is Dan Hesse he or she doesn't know for sure. I just appreciate any info that has been given to us by eieio, BlueScreen, Rebella, the newly banned supersonical, and whoever else I might have missed. Some has been fact and some you had to take with a grain of salt. Shit even Dan Hesse gave us the wrong info about 4G being free..;)

The Tick077 I am not addressing this at you. Let's stop the finger pointing and focus on the this cool ass phone we are all going to own in less than a month. Not on how good or bad someones info they were giving us was and just appreciate it for what is was worth. If i wanted to constantly her nagging I would go hang with some elderly ladies playing bingo! No offense grandma!! lol

The MBA's I imagine would be able to look at the long run. This to me is taking, and keeping customers from other carriers. The post paid subscribers is what they need. They could have kept the data programs the same and drew a lot of subscribers across the "proverbial aisles" in to the Sprint network.

I still think they will get some new and keep some that may have been thinking about leaving, but not as many now, especially those who do not live or work in 4G areas.


Sure they are going to make some good money now up front, but will they keep a hold of those subscribers after the novelty of the new 4g network wears off ?


Dont get me wrong I am not completely bashing Sprint, I still think they are a great value compared to the "others", I just think they could have made a bigger impact for the long run.

Why was SS banned anyways? I must of missed it
 
I also want to point out that there have been some on here that have said that the Wimax build out (the 4G part of this whole thing) has been geared towards businesses.

Maybe the improved bandwith for business use is a much better use of their money, and my drive subscriptions to Sprint on a larger scale than any personal use will.

Just another thought.

I still plan to save my pennies, & work an extra shift here & there to pay for mine!

Dudes. get off the best buy train. I mean you people drive me crazy with this.

Okay, I will tell you here. Best Buy is not in the bidding for pre orders..Period.

1) There was a auction and Best Buy lost

2) Radio Shack has already sent Sprint the check, they got the rights..

3) Once again, May 21st Radio Shack will take pre orders in person

4) On May 29th people who pre ordered will have to go in person back
to the same store and pick up there EVO.

5) This was all setup to allow for Sprint to see the demand for customers
and if May 21st is crazy? Sprint will pay an expedite fee to HTC to
increase output to meet consumer demand on June 4th
Your killing with this Best Buy stuff, it's crap..

I will simply say, once again..I was there, saw the deal signed..it's done. I watched the Best Buys CFO go to rich for my blood and Radio Shack CTO put ink to paper.

So stop the madness. It will be as it sits today, Radio Shack. Friday May 21st. I will be there at the crack of dawn, and eagerly waiting inline with all of you. I built out the 4G code for this phone. I am not getting any special favors..

So why then is BB starting pre oders tomorrow? Im pretty sure a guy I grew up with wouldnt lie to me about it.
