My buddy works at BB and he said Pre Orders start tomorrow. I'm having my GF go do it for me while I'm at work tomorrow. I don't wanna be stuck waiting because they ran out so I want to be one of the first ones on the list.

from what i've heard there are going to be plenty of units shipping. why is everyone so eager to pre-order?
 
i'm on sero... still debating on swapping until i see the confirmed new SERO (EPRP) plans. if everything plays out well, i think i will still be playing the game on getting the 4g. i've invested to much time reading, killing my eye sight, not studying, this phone is MINE!
 
Does anybody know what version of Android the phones at the event were running??

Just called my local Best buy in Roseville CA. I simply asked "when the EVO would go on pre-order?" He said he saw he memo when he got to work that they would begin pre-orders tomorrow. Unfortunately the same memo said that they would not be available for pickup until June 4th.

I'm going to go and do my pre-order in the morning.

Sprints Evo website had fine print that states:
Mail In Rebate: Requires purchase by 6/5/10 and activation by 6/19/10.



If this is correct, buyers effectively have 2 days to save $100.

Jake's accent is laughable, everything is so blatantly fake, the sets looked like trash, and no one could understand what the hell was going on for the first 30 minutes. Sure, it's got it's CG, but anyone who's remotely attached to this game franchise is going to want to pierce their eyes.

Well I'd imagine they'd only get so many in at at time. The further you're back on the list the longer you wait if they run out. Then you wait for the next shipments to come in etc.

Now if they manage to get the exact amount of Evo's as they got in pre orders then I assume you'd be ok. Not sure if that's likely though.

Plus I want mine asap. I broke my Hero Sunday night and now I'm using my old Samsung a900 until I get the Evo.

$200 will be the price regardless of dates. Come 6/19, Sprint will have a new form out that has another 30 days on it or so. Happens all the time.

This describes 9 out of 10 comic to film action movies. Take it for what it is. :)

The important question was, did Sprint get the Evo in the movie for product placement? LOL

I just want to add..On my end RadioShack is a go for next Friday. I have not herd to much about BB, but RS is getting a lot of rumor traffic in my work space. (In the blue man house) I can't say with 100% certainly, but this one is close.
