I was out in the yard a bit ago filling the hummingbird feeders when I started to hear a loud, low grumble in the sky. It was Fifi, the last flying WWII B-29 Superfortress! I couldn't snap a pic because I was playing with sticky sugar water and didn't have time anyway but it's so cool to see and hear that thing. It was here last year too and went right over. Again, no picture. Dang it. Makes a great sound and it's just so shiny and impressive. I'm close to the airport but planes usually don't go directly over my 'hood so when I hear one I am sure to look up...I've seen Fifi and Air Force One a few times now, both really low and loud so I get a good view.

I can't imagine going for a run in that heat. There are times when a British temperate climate is very welcome.

Turns out I don't have to go to Phoenix after all, so it'll be a brisk 105 where I am, not 125.
Dammit. I was just making lunch and there was Fifi again, flew right past my window. Different flight path from earlier, she's trying to trick me. I'm going to have to go sit in the yard and be at the ready with my camera! Of course, that will ensure that the rides are finished for the day.

Happy to be in Gillette, WY tonight. Much better than home, where 12-15 hours of rain is expected for tomorrow.
Gillette? What's the nickname for that place, "razor town" I suppose.

Lethargic, I would agree with that. 
I've always associated them with early '90s grunge type stuff. That's why I was rather surprised to find they're British.

Grunge? No, I couldn't find a beat in Radiohead's music anywhere.. Kinda made me angry as far as enjoyable listening went. [emoji28] Wasn't enjoyable, hahah. My sister listened to that stuff, never could understand her. [emoji12]Lethargic, I would agree with that.
