Help How to transfer photos from phone memory to SD card while maintaining the same order

Hi guys. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and it's running low on storage space. I have about 2.7GB of photos on my phone and I've tried moving them to my SD card but there's a problem. You see whenever I transfer them, they don't appear/display in the order in which they were taken in the Gallery app. They're all mixed up. (I think the way to describe this problem is that the time-stamps of the photos are all messed up)
Please how do I transfer from my phone to SD card while maintaining their original order? Thank you. Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I already have a bunch of my photos on my SD card. In the DCIM folder. I would love it if you could tell me how to move/add the current phone photos to that same folder so that I'd have just one folder on my SD card with all my pictures arranged in the order which they were taken. Thanks.

Your S5 should have the app My Files preinstalled. Within that, navigate to the internal DCIM folder, mark all the files you want to move, then copy them to the external DCIM folder. This should leave the EXIF info embedded in the images intact and allow correct ordering by timestamp. Once you're satisfied that all are safely located on the sdcard you can go back and delete the originals.

OKay, thank you. I'll try it ASAP and get back to you.

It didn't work. Still disorganized, not in correct order.
