It works. I just forgot to add that in.
k. already hit a snag..had to start over. seems the terminal in SManger couldnt successfully run the script to install Supersu. tried before flashing SuperSU.zip..no go. guess i got the wrong one. kdz'd..rooting now...b a few...
yeah..i read the post about using smanager...i just prefer to do tings manually...helps me to understand better. anyhoo...heres to testing ALL avenues ;)

CONFIRMED WORKING. nice man. Followed directions to the letter. KDZ,d to factory, rooted fresh, installed the folder/file, ran Smanager, rebooted, installed TWRP, booted, installed link2sd, threw out the trash. ill keep the SManager on for testing! another high-5 dude!!
OH...maybe edit your directions a tad tho...in SManager you say to click on the file(S) in "init.d" one by one..lol...theres ONLY 1 file!! kinda threw me for a sec...just dont wanna confuse ny1. great job. kudos!!

Smanager doesn't install SuperSu. Tapping the skull (su) and the cog wheel (boot) than save and reboot.
Upon reboot you will see link2sd and Smanager will have toast notifications saying that they have granted permissions (something along that line) and you should be great. 03mountsd is really for the Apps2sd all in one tool. But link2sd works in the same manner. Hope this helps. Thanks for testing the recoveries and giving feedback. That's what pushes me in the right direction.

There should be two 03mountsd and 11link2sd if using link2sd It will create a file in the init.d folder.

It's like people are lazy. This is my first time making a recovery. The rebukes I received pushed me. I just completed V5 using 7.0 bootable. Still testing

something is drastically wrong here. phone shut off by itself since my last post. OS NOT FOUND. there is now NO download mode at all. computer does not recogniz e phone at all. phone unrecognized in in ADB either. twrp does not SEE the backup i made..therefore is a paper wait. stuck on lg screen bootloop. have tried every unbrick option available. i think somethng wrong with partitions??
mayb link me a twrp backup n i try flashing?

yep. totally LOCKED OUT. with NO download mode and NO ADB/FASTBOOT....pretty much screwd.
Pull battery out and count to 10 while holding power put battery back in hold volume up only while having USB plugged in computer and plug in the other end in phone while still holding volume up.

no. i have a feeling partitions are totally wrecked. there is NO way for ANY program/manual to get into download mode. its as if it doesnot exist. everything i try says-NO OS installed!! if i get download..im home free....but it aint working

no...no flashing since my last post when i said "its working". phone and setting have NOT changed since that time...phone has not been rebooted (since last monday). use phone to play music all day everyday...np. this happend "out of the blue". phone shut down at 230pm yesaterday...has NOT booted since. i DO have twrp, i do have fastboot. MTP drivers are not loading, phone keeps rebooting too quickly.

You can't get into recovery? I have mount SD card so you can restore a backup.

no. i can no longer access recovery. now i cant access bootloader/fastboot. this is a complete nightmare. i have NEVER seeen anything like this b4.....something had to happen that the partitions are not being read correctly. since recovery is gone, i dont have required drivers to look at k7 on pc. something is wrong, abd the corruption seems to b getting worse and worse, im losing all i needed to attempt to rescue ma baby....

phone alsmost a year old. i "assumed" when you posted the "built-from-source" file..it was ALL for the ms330. im starting to realize this recovery is NOT using files from our phune..but a combination of files. (ram disk?) its all good. all the playin ive done, over 50 devices now..lol..this b the first 1 that is completely unrecoverable. 1 in 50 aint bad...

I have Metro. Check the source code. Download omnirom and create a lge folder and put all the files from github in a newly created folder m1 inside lge.
Cd to directory in terminal
. build/envsetup.sh
Lunch
Pick number next to omni_m1 then make clean && make -j4 recoveryimage
And it will spit out a recovery about 12.8 mb. Im using the latest bootable.

I dont make the ramdisk. sources does it for you once you have the right recovery.fstab. And also the boardconfig.mk has to be correct.

If you flashed an image from the twrp from source folder that i didnt post thats why you might be messed up. The V5 in that folder was not correct. Twrp stable Unofficial is the folder since my folders are public. Dont go flashing any rom builds from my folder. I have projects in their since 2011 for HTC HD2 Moto cliq and surnia. If i didnt post it dont flash it.

ummm.yeah..ok. not to be rude,,but your obviously NOT gettin what im sayn, just to clear things up...
1. reverted to COMPLETE stock using: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/stock-firmware-rom-unbrick-lg-k7-k330-t-t3432878
2. ROOTED kingoroot....then wolfdroids script
3. installed the SManger....
4. from there on...EVERYTHING per YOUR INSTRUCTION. please read through THIS thread...ive been working WITH you...trying to test your "theories".
im not a complainer, nor a compiler/dev. im just a guy whos been TESTING for ALOT of people...for a LONG time. and now that ive had a chance to relax (spent 12 hours yesterday GLUED to computer..trying to fix this) i KNOW this has something to do with HOW THE PARTITIONS are being read. or ..in my case...how they ARE NOT being recognized. SIR, i AM (if nothing else) diligent. i WILL fix this phone...ive NOT had a "paperweight" in ...well..EVER!
5. and to end..THIS is how you treat your ONLY tester?!?!?
QUOTE: "All I can say is call LG or metro"....kool. but..i now see WHY..i was your ONLY tester here. i NEVER FLASHED ANYTHING from your "source"...nor did i flash a "V.5". READ THROUGH THIS POST PLEASE....before someone else (maybe "YOU") makes this mistake. and no...i will NOT approve/pass on your TWRP to any1.....hardrwork or not. in 15 years ive NEVER had a dev tell me to "call someone else"
thank you..and i wish you the VERY best of luck
