Greetings All -----
Well, been thinking about jumping into an Android phone for some time and finally did it. Picked up an HTC Hero yesterday and have been captivated ever since.
A great full-featured phone and a good platform to do some experimenting with Android software writing -- an add-on to other computer hobbies here.
Love the phone so far, been testing it, and learning it, and despite a few minor bugs, the Android 1.5 is doing well. Am impressed with the number of apps out there already.
The forum looks impressive with much information that can only be upside for a newbie like me
--- looking forward to it. Will surely have some questions as time progresses.
