I also heard that BB and RS will only have 3 evos per store to start
I think I know the answer to this but im going to ask to just to be sure
Does the HTC EVO use the same usb cord we've been using on the Touch Pro 2's or is the usb cable different in any way??? I wanted to know b/c I have this official HTC charging dock that I bought a while back that I've been using for my Touch Pro 2
this is what It looks like btw HTC Desktop Cradle for AT&T Fuze / HTC Touch Pro, Touch Diamond - HTC Charging Docks - HTC Accessories Depot
I hope its the reg usb we've been using so I can buy the correct dock insert clip an continue using it for my htc evo!![]()
the evo does have the white rings around the buttons also
In the real world, no. It would be impossible. You would have to turn it on and test it by the fcc. But since the network will not be ready until late 2011, you would install a battery sucking piece of junk radio, that may or may not pass the fcc, only to get the next iphone to get a real lte radio. Even though 3g radios have been good for years, apple refused to released the first one with 3g. They are very cautious about unproven technology. They will not release a lte radio until it is tested and proven. They might do it, but it would be smarter for apple to call it iphone 4g and let the people get confused. Att are going to pimp the iphone 4g as 7.5mbps. They do not need much more then that to sell the phone.
I was told by BB that they would recieve all the pre-ordered phones and around 3 extra, maybe that is what is being said?
I also heard that BB and RS will only have 3 evos per store to start
Whats so significant about the white rings?
I think it was just that some people said there would be no rings in the final released model... and yet here they are.

you guys complain about the white rings and the 10$ all you want. All i know is, i just pre-ordered 4 evos at rs :d
lol damn... baller! You guys complain about the white rings and the 10$ all you want. All I know is, I just pre-ordered 4 EVOs at RS![]()
Well this is for my KANSAS CITY people!!!
I went to Sprint Store in Overland Park and they advise me that the 4G towers are up now and that they are currently testing them by flicking them on and off -- the rep said that they should be ready to go by June 1st!!
That makes paying the extra $10 worth worth it........wait.....I got mine waived for 24 months!!

lol damn... baller!
4x40x24=$3840 just for the 4g thing.
Remember the Pre only had a limited number on launch day. the BB I Went to had 4.
But I'm assuming they'll be some inventory on hand. the Friday launch is to unusual for Sprint. I think they want to make news with a huge sales number which would be harder to do with a Sat or Sun launch.
If they have the inventory could it be possible to out sell the Incredible and give them something to brag about?
Maybe they'll have a big media blitz the week before, they already have product placements going.
I just hope the ads don't embarrass me like the Pre ads did. 1st the scary hot girl then the Moms, ugh..
he stated he bought 4 evo'sWhy is it 4x40x24?
Shouldn't it be 4x10x24=$960?
how many evos do you think each sprint store will get? i think im going to try to get one at a sprint store and see if they can waive the activation fee (they waived it when my wife signed up with sprint a few months ago).
That will be interesting to see... Since they aren't doing pre-orders as of yet it will also be interesting to see what kind of lines you will run into on launch day. The activation fee is the one thing I hate about going the best buy route. They can't waive it for you. The only good part is that it gets added to your monthly bill instead of having to pay it right then and there. I agree with the "there will be more Evos than Pres statement". Not only are they a richer company but frankly its just a bigger deal all around for Sprint, HTC, and for the industry. I think they took a look at the response the HD2 and Incredible got as well and took that into account when deciding the number of units to manufacture out of the gates.
