I really wish there were some test camera shots up from the evo. I'm itching to see how the pics and Vids recorded at 720p look.

Other than info about accessories being available at Sprint stores and a few sprinkles of generic accessories found by Google searches has anyone found reputable sites that are selling accessories?

How did you guys get your pickup date setup already? Did you use BB or RS?


I was told they'd call me (BB) when the get the phones in. That's all I have been told.

Huh, all they did was print of a sheet with the Evo on it and it had a spot for me to fill out my info. Name, address and phone number. Then he wrote 5 on it. As in I was the 5th person to preorder. Rung me up and said they would call me.

Just saying what happened at mine :) I didn't get a print of sheet... he took my name and phone number and put into his sheet with the time slot.. :)

I got a copy of the paper and a receipt as well. Oh well. I think Im good I just figured all BB would be doing it in the same fashion.
 
4th or 5th (I can't remember) to pre-ordered from a BB near my work. I was asked what time I wanted to come in and that was it.

No...it's a micro sd card. I've got it in my hand right now...tiny little card that comes with a regular sd adapter. Look again.


edit: it even says what it is right in the link http://www.accessorygeeks.com/transcend-16gb-microsd-memory-card-adapter-ts16gusdhc2.html like I said, it looked too good to be true so I ordered one to see if it was legit. I only posted the link after I'd received and tested the product.

i just ordered it. one question, whats the difference in classes? you say its class 2. it WILL work with any phone that uses micro sd cards right?

The quick way to think of the classes is:

class speed
----- ------
02 = 02Mbps
04 = 04Mbps
06 = 06Mbps
08 = 08Mbps
10 = 10Mbps

As to whether it will work...yes, by definition. It will work faster in a higher class, though.

There is a whole thread dedicated to the various differences between the classes of microsd cards here. Search for class 6 and you will find it. In my limited understanding the higher the class, the faster the WRITE speed, doesn't really effect me. And yes...it will work in this phone.
