Also, I attempted to install the 1.2 GHz you have installed and it just would not allow the phone to reboot. I had to reinstall the previous version and then install P3Droid 1.1 GHz... but that only registers in SetCPU as 1.0 GHz. Any thoughts on what I could do to successfully install 1.2 GHz.
Lastly, between the BEKIT7X1000LV.zip and 1100_LV_Wi_USB_Tether.zip I have experienced a hike in temperature. Any thoughts?
A lot of people seem to have lower temps with the P3Droid kernels, though I have found them to be mostly similar (which makes sense, as Bekit uses P3Droid's voltage settings). You should experiment to see which one runs the coolest on your phone, as each device is different.
Now, if youf phone boot loops at 1.2GHz, there's not much to do. It just means your particular chip doesn't like that high of a frequency. Mine starts boot looping at 1.25GHz, and I know many people who can go to 1.3GHz and above.
Also, I've modified the Bekit kernels in the first post. As you can see, they now go to Mediafire. That's because they used to flash Pete's scripts with SetCPU controls built in, but I've gotten rid of that. This may also help your heat issues, since there's no butting heads between the script and SetCPU anymore.
EDIT: I just thought of something...you
may be able to run 1.2GHz if you use the IV (intermediate voltage) kernel, though it will be hotter and consume more battery. I still need to convert over some more kernels (only did LV 800MHz - 1.2GHz last night)
Installed it and liking it so far. Love the percentage in the battery icon.
Now I need to get my kernel back in there. P3 LV good choice?
Yeah, P3 LV will work great, as will Bekit. It's just your preference
